A Hinckley car retailer will host a free exhibition of classic Volvo vehicles for the local community on Saturday 19 September.

The Heritage Meet will take place at the TMS Volvo showroom on Coventry Road and will mark the development of the Swedish manufacturer's cars across its 99-year history.

Models expected to appear include the P1800 coupe associated with the 1960s, the Volvo 363GLT from the 1980s and the more recent V60 Polestar. Owners of classic Volvos are also invited to bring their vehicles to the event.

Visitors will be able to speak to the retailer's team about the cars on display, current models and electric-vehicle technology.

Len Hallows, managing director at TMS Volvo Leicester, said the event would allow people to learn about electric vehicles while looking back at models from the company's history.

How to attend

The event is free to attend and will be held at TMS Volvo Hinckley on Coventry Road on Saturday 19 September 2026. Further information is available from the retailer.
